    Winchester Palace is a medieval palace and was once an impressive structure that served as the London residence of the powerful Bishops of Winchester. The palace's impressive ruins, which include the remains of a Rose Window are now a scheduled monument and are located near Clink Street and Southwark Cathedral. Whilst here, your guide will explain the importance of the Bishops, their sometimes unchristian activities, and their links to the great and good of London. From the palace, your guide will also explain the importance of the nearby Golden Hinde, The Clink Prison, and how this area of London went from Rags to Riches in the 1980s.
