This is a very popular religious festivity that happens only once a year reenacting the arrival of Ferdinand Magellan's boat to the shores of Cebu in the 16th century bringing the image of the Holy Child Jesus, the Sto. Nino and Christianity. A sea of devotees will meet the arrival of the Sto. Nino with joyful hearts and offer prayers and personal intentions. A flotilla of more than a hundred boats will witness the parade while thousands will be at different viewing points.
We will cruise under the Marcelo Fernan Bridge towards Cebu City where the fluvial procession takes place.
This magnificent tower is the country's tallest and longest bridge connecting Cordova in Mactan to mainland Cebu. This bridge has a total length of 8.9kms and supported by pillars of up to 145meters high.
