What to expect

Your adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Arusha. Sit back and relax in a comfortable 4x4 safari vehicle as you drive through the beautiful highlands of Tanzania, passing local villages and stunning views on the way to Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Upon arrival at the crater rim, prepare to be amazed by the breathtaking views before descending 600 meters to the crater floor. Here, you’ll enjoy a full game drive across one of the most wildlife-rich safari spots on earth. Keep your eyes open for lions resting under the acacia trees, elephants roaming gracefully, hippos wallowing in pools, zebras and wildebeests grazing the plains, and if you’re lucky the rare black rhino.

At midday, you’ll stop for a picnic lunch beside the hippo pool, an unforgettable setting where you can eat while watching wildlife in their natural habitat.
