Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang) (Pass by)
Hotel pickup in downtown area of Beijing. 40-minute on Tiananmen Square. It has witnessed many significant events in China’s history. Next head for the Imperial Ancestral Temple (30-minute visiting time). It held the most important festival occasions in history.

Forbidden City-The Palace Museum (Pass by)
The highlight today is the Forbidden City (4-hours visiting time). It is time to immerse yourself in the splendid architecture of the Forbidden City which represents the essence and culmination of traditional Chinese architectural accomplishment. Relax over a Chinese lunch in a local restaurant around lunchtime.

Summer Palace (Yiheyuan) (Pass by)
Then visit Summer Palace (90-minute visiting time), the largest and the most well-preserved royal park in China. It is famed as “The Museum of Royal Gardens”. After this orientation tour of Summer Palace, you will be captivated by the traditional Chinese philosophy of harmonious balance between natural landscape, stream, water, and artificial man-made structures including pavilions, bridges, and halls.

- Why is the hotel pickup so early? You will visit Tiananmen Square and Imperial Ancestral Temple first. The Forbidden City opens at 8:30 am.
- Temporary Closure for maintainnance: Gate towers and walls of the Meridian Gate (Wu men), East Prosperity Gate (Donghua men) and Gate of Divine Prowess (Shenwu men) of the Palace Museum are to be temporarily closed for upgrade. The closure time is from 2 March to 21 March, 2018.
- If you do not receive a phone call from your tour guide the day before tour departure, please check with the front desk of your hotel for messages or refer to the emergency phone number on your confirmation voucher and call your tour operator.
