There is not taxi service call center system in Chengdu, and taxi driver does not speaking in English.  If the hotel doormen can not find a taxi for you in time, the stress of waiting for a taxi will make crazy in rush hour.   This pre-booking service is for both business trip and leisure vacation.  It works for people who prefer to reserve everything in order ahead of time.  It is a private transfer from hotel to Chengdu Shuangliu Airport.  A staff speaking English can help you during and after reservation process.

What to expect

Please wait in the hotel lobby.  Your driver will find you by eye contact, or read your name from his pickup list.  The hotel pickup is 24 hours available.

Q:  Do you pickup from my hotel?  

A:  This pickup price is for hotels in downtown area of Chengdu only.  Downtown Chengdu includes 5 districts of Jingjiang, Qingyang, Jinniu, Wuhou, Chenghua.  Other districts are named as Outskirts Chengdu.   Hotels in Outskirts Chengdu will cost additional charge.  Please check if your hotel is located in downtown Chengdu before you make a booking. 

If your hotel is located in outskirts Chengdu, the local travel agent will advise in 24 hours for the additional cost and ask you to pay in cash to your driver (Plan A).  Your approval of this additional charge is required.  If you do not agree to pay the additional cost, the booking will be cancelled and you will receive refund (Plan B). 

Q:  What should I do if I can not find my driver? 

A:  Telephone the local travel agent.  The staff will ask you to pass the phone to a Chinese standing beside you, find out your exact location.  Then please wait here.  Your driver will come to you.  Do not move!  Do not go to airport by yourself.

Q:  How can I modify a reservation?

A:  Please use the urgent contact number on your voucher, contact the local travel agent as early as possible.

Q:  Will the driver telephone me before pickup?

A:  No.  Your driver does not speaking in English.  The local travel agent will be your backup.

  • Each passenger (aside from infant) can check in with a maximum of 2 pieces of luggage, total dimension not exceeding 158 cm (62 inch), wheels, handles and side pockets included. Each bag should not weigh over 20kg (44 lbs).
