What to expect

When your driver arrives at Hangzhou Xiaoshan International (HGH), he will first check your flight arrival time from the Arrival Flight Information Board, then go to the exact terminal building, wait at the exit from where you will come out.  He will hold your name sign and wait for you to show up.  Please follow him to go to your hotel.

Q:  Do you go to my hotel?  

A:  This pickup price is for hotels in downtown area of Hangzhou only. Downtown Hangzhou includes 5 districts of Shangcheng, Xiacheng, Xihu, Gongshu, Jianggan. Other districts are named as Outskirts Hangzhou. Hotels in Outskirts Hangzhou will cost additional charge. Please check if your hotel is located in downtown Hangzhou before you make a booking.

If your hotel is located in outskirts Hangzhou, the local travel agent will advise in 24 hours for the additional cost and ask you to pay in cash to your driver (Plan A). Your approval of this additional charge is required. If you do not agree to pay the additional cost, the booking will be cancelled and you will receive refund (Plan B).

Q:  How long will my driver wait for me?   

A:  Your driver will wait until your show up.  If the last person has come out from your flight, he will ask the airport staff if there is anyone left in the luggage claim area.  Then he will have to make a phone call to the local travel agent.  Your driver will leave the airport only after receiving a phone approval from the local travel agent. 

Q:  What happen if my flight is delayed?

A:  Delayed flights will cost additional charge.  Please use the urgent contact number on your voucher, contact the local travel agent as early as possible.

A:  Please use the urgent contact number on your voucher, contact the local travel agent as early as possible.   If your driver is already waiting for you at the airport, there is no refund for no show caused by flight cancellation.

Q:  Will the driver telephone me from the airport?

A:  No.  Your driver does not speaking in English.  The local travel agent will be your backup.

Q:  What should I do if I can not find my driver?

A:  Telephone the local travel agent.  The staff will ask you to pass the phone to a Chinese person standing beside you, because it will be easier for a Chinese person to clarify your exact location.  Then please wait there.  Your driver will come to you.  Do not move!  Please do not go to your hotel by yourself.
