Hong Kong to Guangzhou (By Train)

Hong Kong West Kowloon Station
Your round trip train tickets will be reserved by a Hong Kong travel agent in advance. You will receive a Train Ticket Redemption Voucher. Train leaves from West Kowloon Station every 30 minute from 08:00 to 13:00, arrives in Guangzhou South Station in 60 minute.

Huacheng Square
Pickup commences from Guangzhou South Railway Station. Your tour guide will hold your name sign, wait for you at the exit. The first stop is Huacheng Square, which is located in CBD of Zhujiang New Town, a renowned sightseeing and shopping destination in Guangzhou. Strolling around Huacheng Square to appreciate it's green surroundings and a magnificent view of the Canton Tower across the Pearl River.

Canton Tower
A new landmark of Guangzhou city. It is 1,969 feet (600 meter) in height where you could get a panoramic view of the spectacular city landscape at the observation deck on top of the tower (optional admission at USD18)

Guangdong Museum
A comprehensive museum with a collection of over 160,000 pieces of exhibits that was opened to the public since October 1st, 1959.

Guangzhou Opera House
The biggest performing center in southern China and is one of the three biggest theaters in the nation. It was designed by famous late Iraqi architect, Zaha Hadid. Recommended lunch place: Guangzhou Restaurant (Cantonese dimsum). Address: Room 1402, West Tower, Yuanyang Mingzhu Building, 21 Huali Road, Zhujiangxincheng, Tianhe District, Guangzhou). Lunch is not included. Please ask your tour guide to reserve seat in advance.

Chen Clan Ancestral Hall
An academic temple built by the 72 Chen clans for their juniors' accommodation and preparation for the imperial examinations in 1894 in Qing Dynasty.

Beijing Road Shopping District
Transfer to Beijing Road Pedestrian Street, a must-see place when visiting Guangzhou. Even if you do not really come here to shop, the place is still very enjoyable. You could walk along the streets, browse all kinds of stores available there, or simply soak up the atmosphere. Transfer back to your hotel - Hotel Landmark Canton after tour. Hotel Landmark Canton is ideally located in the heart of Guangzhou, with the Pearl River to the south and Yuexiu Mountain to the north, thus promising the guests to enjoy the beautiful view of the river and new appearance of this city. Day 2
Guangzhou to Zhaoqing (B)

Pickup from your hotel lobby at 0830am. Transfer to Zhaoqing. Visit Ancient City Wall. It was built on the northern bank of Xijiang River. first completed in 1113, during the period of Song Dynasty. It served as a part of the important federal defence system as well as flood control system in over 1,000 years history. Zhaoqing is also well known for her Qilou Building on Zhengdong Street: First built in late 19th century, like shophouses designed for both residential and commercial uses, The ground floor portion is reserved for commercial use, mostly by small businesses like pawnshops and food vendors. The upper floors were residential use. Some Kungfu movies were taken here in 1980's.

The Seven Star Crags are the highlights today. The Xinhu Lake is partitioned into five separate sections divided with small strips of land and walkways. You will visit a number of caves, climb up one of the caves with steep stairs going up the side; at the top is a small pavilion for viewing the lake and neighboring crags. There are 531 pieces of cliff inscription of Buddhist and Taoist idols in Seven Star Crag area, known as historical and cultural relics under State's protection. There is a Fairy Maiden Lake nearby. It is a Wetland Reserve for migratory birds. A boat ride to visit dozens of small islets can be arranged at an extra cost of USD15 per person. Transfer and stay overnight in OYC Hotel. The hotel is well located next to The Park Square and within walking distance to the Seven Star Crags. After transfer back to your hotel in Zhaoqing. Your tour guide and driver will complete their service and go back to Guangzhou.

Day 3
Zhaoqing to Hong Kong (B)

Free time in the morning. The waterfront plank of Xinhu Lake has rewarded as one of the most beautiful biking routes in Guangdong Province. A ride in the early morning is extremely a good beginning for today. You might take a walk around the lake if you do not prefer a bike ride.

Hong Kong West Kowloon Station
Take a taxi by yourself to take train G319. It leaves from Zhaoqing East Station at 14:23, arrives in West Kowloon Station at 15:57. The Zhaoqing East Station is about 1 hour drive from your hotel. It’ll be up to you to make the return route from Zhaoqing East Station back to West Kowloon Station, then you might take a taxi back to hotel, or walk for 10 minute to MTR Austin Station to take a MTR train.
