Mikumi National Park is Tanzania’s fourth – largest National Park and the most accessible from Dar es Salaam. Within its 3230 square kilometers, its set between the Uluguru Mountains to the north and the Lumango Mountains to the south-east. Mikumi hosts buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, lions, pythons zebras, leopards crocodiles and many more just to mention a few.
Meet and Greet at Julius Nyerere International Airport (JNIA) transfer to hotel for dinner and overnight.
Pick you up at the hotel and transferred to Mikumi National Park for 5 - 6 hours to Mikumi, On arrival, get a hot lunch in one of the restaurant inside the park, then depart for an afternoon game drive until sunset. Back in the late evening for dinner, then check - in and spend the night at Tanswiss Lodge or Camp Bastian or similar camp. The Mkata flood plain is an attractive point of the park where you can easily spot a large number of animals including elephants, buffalos, zebras, giraffes, wild dogs, and impala and spot a rich number of bird species.
