We take a brief stop at Waterhead in Ambleside situated at the head of Lake Windermere.

The great Langdale valley is some 12,170 acres, much of it in the care of the National trust, who have 10 farms here. Elterwater and Chapelstile are two beautiful villages you will see here.
We take the spectacular drive from Great Langdale to Little Langdale to visit Blea Tarn, probably the highlight of the valley for many.
Condition Water is one of the most imposing and beautiful of the English lakes. The Lake is dominated by the "Old man of Coniston" which rises to 803 metres.
Tarn Hows is one of the top scenic destinations in the North West of England. It is a beauty spot that must not be missed.
Hawkshead is an ancient township that has flourished since Norse times, with many buildings dating from the 17th century.
