Mt. Everest Base Camp hike is the most popular top trek destination of the Himalayas region in Nepal for all the interested travelers & Nature & mountain lover. The hike starts from Lukla & end in Luka. Lukla is one of the most popular Sherpa Sherpas village & gateway of the any tip to Everest region including Everest expedition. The trek follows the Dudh Kosi valley route with an ascent up to the Sherpa capital of Namche Bazaar. From Namche, we traverse along a high path from where we have our first good view of Everest. We head towards Thyangboche Monastery located on top of a mountain ridge. We descend to the Imja Khola and continue to the villages of Pangboche and Pheriche. We approach the Khumbu Glacier. The trek through the glacier takes us first to Lobuche and then to Gorak Shep. From Gorak Shep we climb up to KalaPattar for even more spectacular views of the surrounding mountains, including Everest's south west face.

    Arrival in Kathmandu then transfer to hotel

    HTP program for day 1st is to arrival in Kathmandu international airport and transfer to the hotel then start for the sightseeing for most popular heritage site in the world. Some of our airport representative from our company will be there at arrival terminal gate with the flash board written guest name in A4 paper as per guest flight details. You will explore major attractions of Kathmandu valley. Our city guide will meet you at your hotel at 9:00 AM to pick you up for the sightseeing tour. The observation sites include Boudhanath (the biggest Buddhist temple in Nepal) & Pasupatinath (Biggest Hindus temple in Nepal). After finishing your sightseeing our office representative/Guide will give the information for next day program to Pokhara (Overnight stay at 3 star hotel with breakfast)

    Fly to Lukla & trek to Phakding

    In this day you will transfer to the domestic airport to catch the flight for Lukla early in the morning after your breakfast. The breathtaking views of mountains and rivers will make the approximately 30 – 35 Minutes’ flight remarkable before landing on Tenzing-Hillary airport, named after the pioneer invaders of the Everest. After necessary arrangements/rearrangements you will start heading towards Phakding which is reached at about 3.5 - 4 hrs of moderate walking. (Overnight stay at Phakding with full board)

    Trek to Namche Bazar

    Approximate altitude gain: 800 m. Following a trail through pine forest and crossing few suspension bridges, you will arrive at a small settlement called Benkar which is the gateway to Sagarmatha National Park. After necessary formalities, you will continue towards Namche Bazaar, the major market of Everest region, which teems with shops and hotels of diverse standards.     Acclimatization day in Namche Bazar

    Everest View Point

    Acclimatization is an important part of trekking, especially those involving larger height gains: it minimizes the chance of complications due to abrupt altitude changes. This is first day acclimatization day for the EBC hiking. In this day you will be climbing up to 400m high visiting National park, Museum, Everest view hotel, Khumjung then climb down to Namche bazaar in the same hotel for overnight stay where you are stopped. For this reason you will stay another night at Namche Bazaar before continuing to Tengboche (3860m). Nonetheless, you will find your rest day at Namche worthwhile which accommodates — apart from hotels– banks, government offices, cyber cafes, restaurants, bakeries, massage parlors, trekking gear shops, etc. Or, you may attempt short hikes to Khumjung via Everest view hotel to improve your stamina. (Overnight stay at Namche Bazaar with full board)

    Trek to Tenboche - Diboche

    Approximate altitude gain: 420 m. Tengboche derives its name from the largest monastery of Khumbu region renowned for unique, colourful Mani Rimdu festival held at its premises annually during the full moon of October. With picturesque views of summits of Mt. Everest, AmaDablam, and Mt. Luptse, among others, the trail climbs up to the airdrome of Syanboche before further ascending to Khundu and descending to DudhKoshi. From here, you will join Tengboche trail and continue till themonastery walk around 200 m down and overnight stop in Diboche. (Overnight stay at Dibochewith full board)

    Trek to Pangboche - Dingboche

    Approximate altitude gain: 550 m. You will start the day by climbing down to the small town of Debuche, and will cross a stream before continuing to Pheriche. You’ll encounter Mani stones inscribed with Buddhist prayer of compassion –Om Mani Pembe Hum, and chortens along the way. En route to Dingboche, you might want to visit the Pangbochegompo which holds a replica of the hand claimed to be that of a yeti. Leaving the monastery, you will descend down to Lobucheriver and gradually start the steep climb to the stop of the day: Dingboche. The scenery widens into a picturesque vista at Dingboche.     Acclimatization in Dingboche

    Another day of acclimatization. However the panoramic views of Himalayan peaks and short but somewhat challenging excursions to the hills nearby will make your stay enjoyable, if not adventurous.You can climb the ridge on the north behind the village to appreciate the magnificent view of Mt. AmaDablam, Mt. Lhotse and numerous other peaks that are visible from Dingboche. The vantage point on the ridge also gives you a chance to observe ImjaKhola Valley and the charming fields and pastures of Dingboche. Or, you can simply spend your day exploring Dingboche Valley.     Trek to Lobuje

    Approximate altitude gain: 520 m. After your breakfast, you will start climbing along dry fields of Khumbu valley with picturesque views of mountains on the backdrop. The trail leads to Duglha via PhalungKarpo which sits the historical base camp of first ever successful ascent to the Everest in 1953. Some prefer moving straight to Lobuche to stopping at Duglha; however staying here for acclimatization is highly recommended. The trail from Duglha to Lobuche is memorable for the stone memorials erected in the memory of 10 alpinists, including Scott Fischer, who died in the fateful Everest disaster of 1996. Also, the wonderful views of Pumori, Mahalangur, and Khumbutse peaks add to the grandiosity of the trek. (Overnight stay at Lobuche with full board)

    Trek to Gorakshep - Everest basecamp - Gorakshep

    The trail continues to climb to GorakShep where we check in to Lodge, have lunch and again start to climb up to Everest Base Camp. Having passed the pyramid sign, we can now spot the crest of the north ridge of Everest along with Mt. Pumori, Mt Mahalangur, Mt. Lingtern, Mt Khumbutse, Mt. Nuptse and son on. Just a small ascent from here leads you to 360 degree vista of snowy mountains. A steep climb up to the top through the torrent of Changri Glacier gives you a glimpse of Kala Pattar. Walking through rocky and glacial trails finally leads to the Everest Base Camp (5,360m/17,575ft). After reaching the Base Camp you will return to Gorekshep (5,160m/16,929ft) for overnight stay. Your guide will give the information for next day program of the Kalapattar after the dinner if you are ok to climb it. (Overnight stay at Gorakshep with full board)

    Climb Kalapattar - Gorakshep - Pheriche / Pangboche

    s per your physical condition if you can then you will start your day early by climbing up the trail that meanders across a dry, rocky mountain. The terrain doesn’t pose challenge on this day, but the heavily blowing wind does. Within 2 hours of climbing on the way up you will reach Kala Patthar (literally translated as black rock). The view of Everest observed from here is more eye-catching than that seen from the base camp. From this day you will start to walk down after completing your destination poin. You will return to Gorakshep for breakfast before continuing downwards to Pheriche/Pangboche. In this day you will stop at Pheriche or Pangboche as per your walking stamina on the way down.     Trek back to Namche Bazar

    Trek back to Lukla
