Now the Largest National Park in Africa, Nyerere National Park is a newly established Park which is part of what is known as Selous Game Reserve.
The Park with staggering size of 30,893km2 host one of the world’s largest concentration of wildlife. The collection of wildlife both in diversity and abundance is just remarkable! Visitors to this vast sanctuary will be able to see astounding volume of wildlife both rare and common species.

The park host the famous ‘’Big Five’’ and some rare species of antelopes like Roan Antelope, Brindled Gnu, Lichtenstein hartebeest, roan, and sable antelopes, Kudu etc.!

What to expect
Your driver will pick you up from your hotel and drive you to Zanzibar airport (pick up time will depend on your location)
On arrival at the airport you will meet with our representatives for your safari briefing and assist with the check in process.
At 06.00Hrs you will take your Domestic flight to Selous Game Reserve / Nyerere National Park
At 06:30 you will be landing at Mtemere airstrip right at the safari park main entrance gate.
06.45Hrs you will Start your Safari Game Drive in Selous Game Reserve now known as Nyerere national park
13.30Hrs we will have a short break for your Safari Bush Lunch inside the safari park.
15.30Hrs End of the Safari Game Drive and heading to the airstrip ready for your flight back to Zanzibar
At 16.15 Hrs you will have your flight back to Zanzibar
On arrival in Zanzibar our driver will be waiting for your ready to bring you back to your hotel.
