The purpose of the Special Trekking is to promote the meeting of man with nature, through a smaller hiking circuit, reaching the primitive area using services capable of making his immersion in Lençóis Maranhenses comfortable and unforgettable.

Meeting and pickup
We are located on the first avenue that gives access to Avenida Beira Rio, at the traffic light intersection, towards the Preguiças River.
After the end of the trekking in the city of Santo Amaro, participants have public transport mini-vans to São Luís at the airport.

We departed from Barreirinhas on a collective boat for the group, taking the tour of the Preguiças river, exploring its shores, its diversity, the encounter between the Amazon bioma and the Brazilian Cerrado.

The desert on the east side of the Preguiças River, bathes its bed invaded its course with its raging yellow dunes. We also have a small circuit of 3 km for a walk in the golden dunes.

After the 4x4 transfer between the port of Atins and the mouth of the Rio Negro, we started an 8 km walk between dunes and lagoons of Lençóis Maranhenses until we reached the Baixa Grande overnight site.

We started the day with a beautiful sunrise show, then an 11 km walk between the two Brazilian oases, visiting one of the best paths in relation to the set of lagoons.

We started with a walk POR 2 hours a night, starting DA 4 in the morning watching the stars, then the sunrise and then the lagoons to dive until we reach the lagoon of the junco, after 15km of walking in the lagoon of the junco by the turn DA 9:30 in the morning we will have a 4x4 that leads us directly to santo Amaro. In Santo Amaro end of the tour.
