    Marrakech - Tizi n'Tichka - Ait Ben Haddou kasbah - Ouarzazate - Dades Gorges

    Tizi n Tichka

    start your tour by pick up all travelers, drive trough Tizi n'Tichka, which is the highest mountain pass in North Africa, situated at an elevation of 2,260 meters (7,415 feet) in the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco. It serves as a vital link between Marrakesh and Ouarzazate via National Route 9 (N9).

    Ait Ben Haddou

    Arrive at ait ben haddou meet a local guide (guide fees not included 3€), Visit the old village of Ait Benhaddou, a famous UNESCO World Heritage Site in southern Morocco. This beautiful Berber village, made from clay and mud bricks, has been used in many movies like Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, and Alexander. We will take a walk around the village with a guide to learn about its history and culture. After the tour, you can enjoy lunch at a local restaurant (lunch is not included). Next, we drive to the city of Ouarzazate. There, you will visit the Atlas film studios, where many movies were filmed. You’ll see old movie sets and learn more about the films made in this area.

    We will see the famous kasbah Taourirte, Due to recent damage from the earthquake in Morocco, the site is still under repair and not fully safe to enter. For now, we will stop outside the village to take photos and enjoy the view.

    After our photo stop, we will continue on to the city of Ouarzazate. While the Atlas Film Studios are a popular attraction, a full tour takes about an hour and may delay our arrival at the hotel. For this reason, we will make a brief stop outside the studios for photos only. If you're interested in a more in-depth experience, we also offer a guided day trip to Ouarzazate, which allows more time to explore both the city and the studios, known for hosting the production of many international films. Even from the outside, the studios offer great views and photo opportunities.

    Vallee Des Roses

    We’ll make a stop as we drive through the Dades and Rose Valleys, which are important for their irrigation systems. These valleys are also known as the "Valleys of a Thousand Kasbahs" due to the many kasbahs scattered throughout the region. During the stop in the Rose Valley, you will have the opportunity to visit a local cooperative and explore beauty and skin care shops that use products made from the unique Damask rose. This rose is central to the area’s culture and economy. If you visit in May, you’ll also have the chance to experience the Rose Festival, a vibrant celebration of the rose harvest.

    Boumalne Dades

    Our journey will continue through the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs, heading toward Boumalne Dades. Along the way, we’ll pass through Berber villages before arriving at the hotel for check-in. You’ll spend the night in the Gorges. In certain cases, such as during heavy rain, we may stay overnight in the Rose Valley in Kelaat M'Gouna instead. This is because Boumalne Dades is located in a valley surrounded by mountains, which can cause strong floods and road closures due to rising rivers.

    Boumalne Dades

    Wake up in the morning, enjoy your breakfast, and relax until the driver calls you. Once you're ready, join the group in the van, take your seat, and continue the journey.

    Tinghir

    Tinghir, located between the Atlas Mountains and the desert, offers beautiful landscapes and rich Berber culture. Explore the impressive Todgha Gorges, walk through palm groves, and visit the local markets. This is a great mix of nature and tradition. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and respect local customs. Enjoy your time in this peaceful oasis town!

    Merzouga Desert

    Upon arriving in Merzouga and enjoying a warm cup of mint tea, we’ll begin a new adventure with a camel caravan. After an hour and a half ride through the stunning golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, we’ll reach the desert camp at the base of the Great Dune. During the trek, you’ll experience a breathtaking sunset over the dunes. Afterward, enjoy dinner at the camp and spend the night under the starry sky. Depending on your choice, you can stay in a shared tent at the standard camp or enjoy a private tent at the luxury desert camp.

    Merzouga Desert - Kalaat M'Gouna - Marrakech

    Merzouga

    Wake up early to have breakfast then watch the stunning sunrise over the golden dunes of Merzouga, then ride camels back to the hotel to meet your driver. Drive towards Marrakech, with several stops along the way for breaks, where you can stretch, buy souvenirs, or use the restroom also smoking.
