    Essaouira

    Take a fun day trip from Marrakech to the beautiful coastal town of Essaouira. In the morning, your driver will pick you up from your hotel or riad in Marrakech. You will travel in a comfortable, air-conditioned car. When you arrive in Essaouira, you will have free time to explore the town. Walk through the straight streets of the city and enjoy the fresh sea air. Visit the old port and see the busy seafood market. You can also walk around the medina, a colorful and lively part of the city with many shops and local products. Ask your driver if you want a good place to have lunch—Essaouira is famous for fresh fish and seafood. You will also visit a women’s cooperative where they make argan oil. Learn how this special Moroccan oil is made. Later, see the old bronze cannons that face the Atlantic Ocean and visit workshops where people make beautiful things from cedar wood. After a great day in Essaouira, your driver will take you back to Marrakech in the evening.
