Wat Trimit (Temple of the Golden Buddha) This temple is a must-visit for any trip to Bangkok. The main attraction is the 5.5-ton solid gold Buddha statue, a breathtaking sight to behold. The statue is over 3 meters tall and is said to be over 700 years old. Aside from the Golden Buddha, Wat Trimit also houses a museum dedicated to the history of the statue and the Chinese community in Bangkok.
Wat Noi Located a short distance from Wat Trimit, Wat Noi is a lesser-known temple but equally captivating. This temple is known for its beautiful teak carvings and serene atmosphere. Wat Noi is a perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and find some peace and tranquility.
