    Udawalawe National Park

    Meet and greet our lovely driver at the pick up point and proceed for the tour, The journey will take around 3 to 4 hours to reach to the park. This park is home to several hundred elephants and other rare plants and wildlife. The park was established in 1972 as a sanctuary for wild animals displaced by the construction of the Udawalawe Reservoir. Today, it is a popular destination for wildlife safaris and is one of the best places in Sri Lanka to see wild elephants in their natural habitat. In addition to wildlife safaris, visitors to Udawalawe National Park can also enjoy birdwatching, nature walks, and camping.

    The Udawalawe Dam is a large irrigation dam in Udawalawe, in the Southern Province of Sri Lanka. The dam consists of an embankment section and a gravity section, combining the total dam length to approximately 3.9 km (2.4 mi). The dam is also used for hydroelectric power generation, powering three 2 MW units, commissioned in April 1969
