Embark on your Orang Utan Island adventure with a comfortable hotel pick-up. As we travel northbound along the North-South Expressway for 4 hours, you'll pass through charming landscapes, including small palm oil plantations and pineapple fields in the sleepy community of Bukit Merah town. Upon arrival, board the ferry to Orang Utan Island and be captivated by the "People of the Jungle" – the endangered Orang Utans. Known for their brilliance, these remarkable creatures have one of the longest birth intervals, averaging once every 8 years. Spend an hour and a half at this dedicated rehabilitation sanctuary, capturing unforgettable moments with these incredible beings.
Our next stop takes you to the Perak Cave Temple on Jln. Kuala Kangsar. Marvel at the 40-foot Golden Sitting Buddha statue that dominates the temple, while colorful murals depicting characters and events from Chinese mythology adorn the cavern walls. If you're up for it, climb the more than 450 steps to reach the highest pavilion, offering panoramic views of the northern suburbs of Ipoh.
Bid farewell to the captivating sights as we depart for Kuala Lumpur at 4:00 PM. Anticipate arriving back in Kuala Lumpur around 7 - 8 PM, marking the end of your enriching journey.
