    Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic

    Temple of the Tooth Relic - Sri Dalada Maligawa, or Temple of the Tooth Relic, is the holiest Buddhist temple in Sri Lanka. It is located in the city of Kandy, the ancient capital of the Kandyan kingdom. The golden-roofed Temple of the Sacred Tooth houses Sri Lanka’s most important Buddhist relic – a tooth of the Buddha. During puja (offerings or prayers), the heavily guarded room housing the tooth is open to devotees and tourists.

    Royal Botanical Gardens

    Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens – Located just a few minutes from the hill Capital of Kandy, is the place for lovers of fauna, flora and nature. The stunningly landscaped gardens, the large variety of plants and the Orchid House; the best known attraction of the garden featuring over 300 varieties of beautiful orchids make it a much loved Sri Lankan attraction. The great circle and Memorial trees - The great circle is a grassy central area of nearly 4 acres in extent. Around the circle is a diverse array of trees planted by dignitarpies, who had visited the Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens.
