This full day excursion is suitable for anyone, to those who wish to completely relax to those who want adventure and excitement, we ensure you have a relaxing Island excursion. Leaving from Forodhani Garden or Africa House for Prison Island, locally known as Changuu Island. We visit the old slave prison ruins and the Aldabra’s giant tortoise, once property of the Sultan Said Majid.
Here we will do some snorkelling with our guides to see the stunning array of colored corals and tropical fish of the islands. We will have time to play with starfish on the beach then setting off again with our traditional dhow to Pange Island (Sandbank), where brilliant birdlife exists. On the way we serve tropical fruits.
It gives you time to relax on the beach, get a nice tan and enjoy the wonderful clear blue waters of Indian Ocean. On sandbank we offer a variety of tropical fruits, buffet lunch of Swahili cuisine, seafood and Soft drinks.

1Prison Island - Changuu Private Island
Prison Island is a simply Paradise on Earth. One of zanzibar's best known attractions, the island lies 3.5 miles to the northwest of Zanzibar's Stone Town, a short 30 minutes dhow ride from Stone Town, and like Zanzibar has a fascinating history. The old prison building which were later used as a quarantine station have been meticulously restored by the present owners to create a modern boutique hotel whilst preserving the historical treasures. Swim and take photos as much as you want while the food and soft drinks are there to make you feel okay every time, Then after full relaxation back on-board and let us sail you away to Stone town and that is the end of the full day tour. Ending Point: We end our tour at Forodhani garden an easy location you can access your trip-connections to where else you may wish to go or should we return you back to your hotel at extra cost.
