Our sunset cruises leave Stone Town in the late afternoon to cruise along the coast, slicing through the clear turquoise water. The sounds of the bustle of busy people in Stone Town grow faint in the distance until they seem there, only in a memory. Musicians take over the sounds playing traditional songs of love and loss, on violin and oud, as the crew serve canapés and keep your glass topped up with your choice of a selection of beers, sodas and drinking water from the Zanzibar Serena Inn, encouraging you to sink back into the cushions and enjoy the romance of Africa while watching the scenery drift by

What to expect

This is a boat trip can start from the North of Island, to watch the world famous sunset of Zanzibar’s North Coast or it can start from Stone Town where guests can enjoy the best view of the capital from the water. Snacks and drinks are provided on the traditional wooden dhow and if the wind allows the crew, they will sail like the traditional fishing boats while you listen to traditional Zanzibar music.
