Cheetahs are the fastest land animal in the world. They are also one of the most endangered big cats due to, among other factors, loss of habitat.
The Ann van Dyk Cheetah Centre (formerly De Wildt Cheetah Centre) prides itself on its proactive approach to the research and conservation of these beautiful animals. Daily guided tours take visitors through several enclosures where they can view several species, including cheetah, King Cheetah, African wild dog, caracal, and vultures. Some tours offer the opportunity to watch a jaw-dropping “cheetah run”, and guests are able help funding the non-profit organization by “adopting” one of the animals.

The aim of this centre is to preserve the cheetah and wild dogs, support scientific investigations towards endangered species, promote conservation through education and public awareness and to afford visitors to get a view of these endangered species. This tour will raise awareness on how to love and protect endangered species before they go extinct.
