Pickup details:

We do pickup around Johannesburg areas, Pretoria areas or Kruger areas.

Stephenson Adventures branded vehicle and a tour guide wearing branded uniform. If you are staying at a hotel or guest house, we will meet you at the reception area of your hotel. If you are staying at a private residential the tour guide will meet you at the main gate of your property.

If your pickup is at the airport, the guide will wait for you at terminal A, international arrivals carrying a paging board written your name.

    The Road Trip to Kruger National Park and Afternoon Game Drive in Kruger National Park

    Morning: Road Trip Pick you up between 06:00am to 07:00am from OR Tambo Airport, Johannesburg, Pretoria and surrounding areas. Including Hoedspruit Airport and other surrounding areas around Kruger. Our driver/guide will warmly welcome you and give you pre-departure tour briefing. Enjoy your approximately 5-hour road trip to Kruger, including stops for refreshments and stretching.

    Midday: Check-in and Lunch Check-in time between and 12:30 to 13:30pm. Check-in at your chosen 4-star accommodation within Kruger National Park (Kruger gate hotel / Mdluli Safari Lodge or similar). Enjoy a delicious lunch at the lodge or camp restaurant. Afternoon: Afternoon Game Drive Starting time for your game drive is 14:30pm. Embark on your first game drive in an open safari vehicle with a knowledgeable expect nature guide. Explore the diverse habitats of Kruger National Park, seeking out the Big Five and other iconic wildlife. Stop for breath-taking sunset views and capture memorable photographs.

    Evening: Dinner and Relaxation Return to your accommodation as the evening sets in. There are pools and bars available. Enjoy a delicious dinner prepared with local flavours. Relax around the campfire or enjoy stargazing before retiring for the night.

    Full Day in the Wild at the Kruger National Park

    Morning: 06:00 - Into the bush at first light You'll depart at dawn, the best game viewing happens early, when predators are still active and the air is cool. Your open safari vehicle moves quietly through Kruger's prime wildlife corridors: waterholes, riverbanks, open plains. No windows, no roof, just the bush in every direction. Your guide reads the landscape as you go, tracks, bird alarms, animal behaviour, steering you toward the best possible sightings. The Big Five are all here, alongside giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, hippo, crocodile, and more. A full day in the park gives you the time and space to find them properly. Afternoon: Rest camp break Inside the park, you'll stop at a designated rest camp or picnic site for breakfast and lunch, both included. Stretch your legs, grab a cold drink, and head back out for the afternoon drive as the light shifts and the bush offers something new.

    Breakfast & Check-out Start your final morning with a full breakfast before checking out at 08:00. Then it's straight onto one of South Africa's most spectacular scenic drives. The Panorama Route Stretching 160 km through Mpumalanga, the Panorama Route is a showcase of raw natural drama. You'll stop at six iconic landmarks: Blyde River Canyon: one of the world's largest green canyons, viewed from above Three Rondavels: massive rock formations rising dramatically from the canyon floor Bourke's Luck Potholes: extraordinary river-carved rock sculptures at the canyon's entrance God's Window: a cliff-edge viewpoint with sweeping views across the lowveld Berlin Falls: a single-drop waterfall plunging into a crystal-clear pool Lisbon Falls: Mpumalanga's highest waterfall, framed by lush forest Departure After the tour, your guide drops you at your preferred destination whether that's Kruger, Johannesburg, Pretoria, OR Tambo Airport, or anywhere in between.
