In our second stop, we visit Teotitlan del Valle, in a family workshop where this community is famous for the natural dyes that are made from roots, flowers and insects, the most important being the Red color of the cochineal grana. Our Guide together with the artisan will give us a demonstration of the process, dyes and products made from sheep's wool.

The first stop on our tour is a brief but very interesting stop to get to know the famous Tule Tree, the widest tree in the world. Optional Entrance Not Included ($20MXN)

We will also visit the second most important archaeological zone in Oaxaca, MITLA, unique in its kind due to the fine fretwork that decorates its palaces. Our guide will share the history of the place along with his passion for the site. We will have a guided tour and free time to explore the site as well as the nearby craft market Entrance to Archaeological Zone Not Included 90 MXN

During the tour we will also make a stop to eat between 1-2 pm. One of the best stops on the tour, but also the furthest away, you will see the beautiful Hierve el Agua waterfalls. In this place there is free time (2hrs) to explore, swim or take photos of the landscapes of mountains and rock formations, you decide. TICKET NOT INCLUDED 70MXN
