Concentration Camps all over Germany are the sad reminders of the atrocities and brutality of the Nazis during World War II. At Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp, north of Berlin, around 30,000 innocent people, mainly Jews, were killed. Today the compound houses a museum and it functions as a memorial.
