What's Included
Meeting and pickup
You can collect your scavenger hunt supplies from our office located at 221 East Government Street. Once you arrive at the office, you will be able to download your scavenger hunt and digital travel guide. We will provide you with all the necessary instructions at the meeting location or by phone.

In 1811, a French pirate ship called La Franchise was chased into Pensacola Bay by a U.S. gunboat. Cornered, the pirates burned their ship and vanished into the woods—along with their treasure. Before the captain died, he dealt a "Dead Man's Hand" of cards to his crew, each card marking a secret location...
Gear up with pirate glasses, headbands, and swashbuckling props, then follow the clues left behind through 25 historic stops. Solve riddles, complete photo and video challenges, and discover the verified maritime history hidden in plain sight. Learn about Jean Lafitte's plot to seize the city, the 1823 pirate trial that reached the U.S. Secretary of State, and the 1559 shipwrecks still being excavated from Pensacola Bay.
