Half-bow archery was once a common evening pastime around Japan, but few of these archery ranges remain. Takayama's historic archery range, a favorite of the locals since 1929, will be all yours for a private session. An experienced archer will be there to give you instructions.

What to expect
The archery range has been a favorite evening activity in Takayama since 1929. We will give you instruction in the use of the bows so you can try your hand at this traditional pastime.
You will have the archery range all to yourselves while your group receives private instruction, and competes to see who can get their name on the scoreboard.
The duration of the session may be extended for larger groups.
