Once the hunting grounds of the royals, this place is now a great spot to enjoy a safari in the middle of the city. Spread over an area of more than 20 square kilometers, the Jhalana Leopard Conservation reserve is counted amongst the best places in the country to spot the elusive cats. You will be taking an open-air gypsy ride with a driver cum guide in the park and spot leopards, alongside other animals like Blue Bulls, Spotted Deer, Hanuman Langur, Rhesus Macaque, Small Indian Mongoose, Ruddy Mongoose, Bengal Monitor, Desert Gerbils, Striped Hyena, Desert Fox, Porcupine, Hedgehog, and Sambhar Deer.

What to expect

Depending on your selected departure time, your pickup at your hotel starts at 5am or 2pm.

1st August to 31st Oct - 6.45 AM to 9.15 AM & 3.45 PM to 6.15 PM
1st November to 31st January - 7.00 AM to 9.30 AM & 3.15 PM to 5.45 PM

Ride for 30 minutes in your private air-conditioned vehicle to reach Jhalana Safari Park. Upon arrival, go inside the state park and take in two zones with different types of wildlife in a 4-wheel drive Jeep. Proceed first into the first zone where the residents include different species of birds, and animals such as jackals, hyena, spotted deer, blue bull, and possibly leopard. Afterwards, move towards the second zone to look for leopards and go off-roading in the jungle. Expect to spend about three hours in the park, the depart and have some refreshments. Your tour ends with drop-off at your hotel after five hours.
