What to expect

Get picked up from your accommodation in Marrakech at 9 AM and reach the village of Imlil after a short 1-hour drive. Meet your local guide and his team who will walk you to the local family that will host you for your morning cooking class chez l’habitant. At the end of the day, you will know how to prepare an authentic Berber tajine with meat and fresh vegetables.

After preparing the tajine, there will be a short break for other activities while the food is cooking in the stove. Choose from two options:

Option 1
Enjoy the tranquillity of the place and immerse yourself into the Berber tea culture with your local family. Learn to prepare the typical Moroccan tea with plenty of fresh mountain herbs that you will personally pick from the garden.

Option 2
Stretch your legs during a 1.5-hour trek along the Imlil valley to discover the Berber villages and enjoy the stunning panorama of the surrounding Atlas Mountains.

After lunch, your driver will take you along the scenic route crossing the Kik Plateau, a rocky limestone outcropping with inspiring views of the region, ending at the Lalla Takerkoust, before heading back to your accommodation in Marrakech at around 5 PM.
