What to expect

Aurora hunting on snowmobiles on the Arctic Circle in Rovaniemi, Lapland is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. This safari combines both hunting for the magical auroras on a clear winter sky and driving snowmobiles through shiny snow-banks and frosty trees!

Driving snowmobiles through the snowy wilderness of Rovaniemi, Lapland is a unique experience, due to the pristine silence and peacefulness of the night you will get to experience during the various stops of the safari. Your guide will also explain about Northern lights, Lappish nature and answer any questions you might have.

The Auroras are an unpredictable natural phenomenon, and our evening safaris are made to give you a chance to observe them, but we cannot guarantee that they will appear. The activity experience remains the main idea and the Auroras are an added value to it.

The driver of a snowmobile has to be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driver's license – A1, T, A or B category (please check that it is valid in Finland!).
