On the first day, our journey begins with a trek to Wae Rebo Village. As you hike through dense rainforests, you'll be greeted by the warm smiles of the Manggarai people, who invite you to learn about their rich heritage. While the journey may be challenging, the reward of arriving at this remote haven makes every step worthwhile, and the breathtaking views will leave you in awe.
On the second day, wake up to crisp mountain air and the tranquility of Wae Rebo. Explore the village further, soaking in its rich history and serene surroundings. After breakfast, trek back through the scenic forest to Denge, where your car awaits to whisk you back to Labuan Bajo.

1Wae Rebo Village
Wae Rebo is a old village of Manggarai that located in an enclave area and surrounded by mountains. This village only could be reached on foot approximately three to four hours from the nearest village. The dense rainforest along the road has biological diversity such as orchids, palms, ferns. The journey to Wae Rebo will also be entertained by the chirping of various types of birds. Wae Rebo has 7 Original Traditional Manggarai Houses that have unique architecture. Visitors are welcome to learn about architecture, experience community life, and spend the night in one of the traditional houses.

Wake up to the crisp mountain air and the serene beauty of Wae Rebo. In the morning, you'll have another chance to explore the village and learn more about the way of life of local people. Take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains as you soak up the peaceful atmosphere of this hidden gem. After a hearty breakfast, we'll begin our trek back through the forest to Denge, where our car will be waiting to bring us back to Labuan Bajo. We'll arrive in the afternoon, leaving you with wonderful memories and a deeper appreciation for the culture and natural beauty of Flores.
