    Kathmandu-Kyirong border-Kyirong town: 2800m / 168Km

    Morning drive from Kathmandu to Kyirong (Nepal-Tibet) border passing through Nepalese countryside landmarks, waterfalls, forests, etc. From Border our guide will assist completing all the necessary immigration formalities in both Nepal and Tibet borders. After completion, we will continue our drive to Kyirong town (20Km) and check-in at the hotel. Overnight in Gyirong town

    Kyirong-Pekutso-New Tingri (Shegar): 4050m/270Km

    After breakfast, journey to New Tingri (Shegar) will begin with a drive. We will pass by the most sacred cave of Milarepa Yogi which dates back to the 11th century and also the birth place of Milarepa. Continue drive through Gongthang La Pass at the elevation of over 5000m. Then drive along Pekutso lake and continue to Old Tingri.The scenery is extremely beautiful with Shisha Bangma snow mountain on the right and Pekutso on the left. During pleasant weather, one can enjoy the view of Mt. Everest on the way to Old Tingri. After one-hour of drive on the friendship highway we will reach New Tingri. Overnight in New Tingri.

    After breakfast around 10:30 Am we start our tour driving through the highest mountain pass Gyatso La (5200m) and through Tsola (4500m) and along beautiful villages. We will have our lunch at Shigatse and head for the sightseeing of Tashi Lhunpo Monastery. Overnight in Shigatse.

    After breakfast around 9:00 AM, We will begin our drive to Gyantse. After having lunch in Gyangtse we will visit Palchoe monastery and Kubum Pagoda stupa. In the afternoon, explore the old town of Gyantse. Overnight in Gyantse.

    Gyantse-Yamdrok lake-Lhasa: 3650m/270Km

    Around 9:00 AM after breakfast, we wil drive towards Lhasa via 3 big mountain passes, Simi La, Karo La, Kampa La, respectively. Karo La is the highest pass among them (5000m) with its most beautiful glaciers; beautiful Yamdrok lake emerged as coral color from the top of Kampa La pass. After having Lunch at Nakartse, which is just between the Yamdrok lake and Karola glaciers we will continue our drive to Lhasa. Overnight in Lhasa.
