3 Days Lwang, Ghale, Ghachowk Hike lies in picturesque view of Machhapuchhre Himalayas which fall under the Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP) Situated at an elevation of (1460 m). Lwang is famous for organic Himalayan Tea Farming and lies 20 km north-west from Pokhara. This Gurung village is also the starting point of Mardi Himal Trekking route. The major occupation of villagers are tourism home stay. Lwang Ghalel is popular in Community Based Home stay where every household mother gather in one house and cook tipical Nepali food and serve tourist. Tourist have great opportunity to experience Gurung culture and tradition. Tourist are allowed to stay in typical small stone roof house with clean land and surrounding. Tourist are served with typical Nepali food (Dal, Bhat and Organic Vegetable) local chicken,local alchol (rakshi) , cultural program and show.

    Drive from Pokhara to Lwang village (Lwang Ghalel), (1500 m/2 hrs)

    Pick up from hotel or airport from Pokhara and drive to Lwang village for (2 hrs) northwest of Pokhara. The village is perched high up at the altitude of (1550 m). Mt.Fishtail appears undisturbed in the northeastern backdrop of the village. We will stay in one of the community managed tea house with some of the lovely Gurung family and enjoy their hospitality. Meals served are made of local products and fresh from garden.

    Ghachok

    Next day , we will visit tea garden, village and Canyoning site in Ghachok. You can participate and learn the village life, observe feeding and milking cattles, churning of yougurt and their custom. Overnight stay in Ghachok.
