The River Kwai Bridge is one of the most famous historical attractions in Kanchanaburi. During World War II, in order to prevent the Thai people from being severely affected by the war, the Thai King promised to assist the Japanese Imperial Army in Thailand. The Japanese army used Allied prisoners of war to build a railway that passes through the forests of the Thai-Burma mountain area to provide Japanese military supplies in Myanmar. At that time, a large number of Allied prisoners were killed by labor, which is a rather heavy historical memory. The River Kwai Bridge was originally a wooden bridge. It had been blown up during the war. The iron bridge now seen was rebuilt later. Today, trains still pass by. Standing on the Bridge over the River Kwai, watching the beautiful River Kwai under it, it is difficult to imagine the fierce fighting at that time, and I hope the world will always be peaceful.

Take A Train On The Death Railway In the Second World War, the Japanese forces forced the prisoners of war to build the Tamil Railway. Beyond the Guin River Bridge, there was also a "death railway" covered with steep mountain walls, because of construction difficulties, and many lives were sacrificed during construction. We will take the train of about 20 minutes, after the view of the Death Railway to the most spectacular and the most rigorous part of the construction. The train runs on an empty wooden railway, on the side of the cliffs and on the side of the Guine River, which is amazing, while pressing the camera short door, more note the history of the underground railway.

Walk Along The Old Street/ Heritage Walking Street of World War II North Beach Old Town has a 100-year-old heritage walking old street, the predecessor of which was a bustling commercial trading area during the Second World War, as the town's focus shifted, now becoming a quiet, turning point. Walking the old street is narrow, but along the road is very wonderful, with various styles of architecture, such as the traditional two-three-story street houses with Portuguese, Chinese and Thai characteristics, all witness to the Second World War, and the remaining centuries of building. To this day, there are many residents living in them, there are some buildings still retained in the early first floor is the storefront, the second floor above is the style of housing, continues to operate grocery stores, some old houses change to restaurants, cafes, the old furniture inside and the old style, taste good.
