Night Snorkeling is a unique experience since unlike Night Diving, you don’t need to have a special certification or know how to swim and you won’t find this activity elsewhere in Mexico.
We will take you safely to appreciate species that have a lot of activity during the night, our main objective is to be able to find octopuses and squid to enjoy the spectacle they give with their impressive camouflage, to find them we must work as a team and along the way we will find other species more from which we will also learn a lot.
Octopuses and squid are very beautiful animals I have intelligent that you must come to appreciate alive in their natural habitation.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Our meeting place is in front of the Money Bar, you can take a taxi from anywhere in the city. Important not to consume alcoholic beverages before the activity, in case the person is in bad condition will not be able to participate in the tour.
What to expect
This is a completely different adventure that you will remember all your life.
We will snorkel in a privileged area where octopuses and squid hunt at night and don’t worry, we will be there only to observe nocturnal species.
We will walk from the shore to the water and move around an area no bigger than two basketball courts, the maximum depth is 2.5 meters so it is quite safe.
Each person will have a flashlight. If you think you need a life jacket, we can provide one. I'll have my camera ready all the time to take videos for you.
We will spend about 1 hour in the water swimming constantly.
We'll have to work as a team because octopuses are experts in camouflage. We will always be at a safe distance from the animals, we will explain how to move in the water even if you can not swim and also how to communicate in the water, at no time encourage direct contact with any of the species.
