Climbing Wuzhishan Mountain typically takes about 3 to 4 hours to reach the summit, depending on your physical abilities, and around 2 to 3 hours to descend, covering a total distance of approximately 9 kilometers. The initial third of the route features a seemingly endless series of stairs, which can feel somewhat monotonous. However, the latter part of the climb offers a true challenge, with no stairs to guide you. You'll need to find your own way, and at times, you may even find yourself crawling as you navigate the rugged terrain.
