Often referred to as the “Coca-Cola Route,” this trail is the oldest and most popular – the perfect choice for first-time explorers yearning for excitement!
Your adventure begins bright and early in Moshi at 8:30 AM. After a scenic 45-minute drive to Marangu Gate, you'll kick off your rainforest journey at an elevation of 6,000 ft, making your way to the enchanting Mandara Huts at 9,000 ft.
Prepare for a 3–4 hour hike through stunning lush landscapes, where vibrant greenery surrounds you at every turn. Enjoy a delightful picnic lunch amidst nature and don't forget to visit Maundi Crater for breathtaking panoramic views of Kenya and Tanzania that will leave you in awe!
By 4:45 PM, you'll start your descent back to the gate, wrapping up your exhilarating day by returning to Moshi by 5:45 PM.
