From story telling to story living, this double combines Darwin’s only Bombing of Darwin cruise with a visit to Darwin’s premier virtual reality experience.  The Bombing of Darwin will come alive on this combined adventure.  Your Bombing of Darwin cruise is a journey on the water that starts at Stokes Hill Wharf and takes in the historic wharf areas, the Pearling Luggers, the oil tanks, the wreck sites of the SS Neptuna and USS Peary, the old flying boat base at Doctors Gully, HMAS Coonawarra and the Emery Point gun emplacement. Your Bombing of Darwin virtual reality experience is located within the RFDS Tourist Facility, and is a state of the art presentation which includes life size holograms, interactive story telling mini ghosts, virtual reality of the bombing of Darwin Harbour, replicas of a Japanese Zero aircraft and Camilla the Flying Boat, and a window of 1942 and an aerial view of the bombing raids.
