We begin with a stroll along the Kamo River, a favorite spot for locals. Next, we explore Shirakawa Street, marking the entrance to the district.
We visit Yasaka Shrine, a sacred site dating back to the 7th century. We wander through the old town, passing through Sannenzaka and Ninenzaka, where traditional Kyoto awaits.
We stroll through Maruyama Park, perfect for enjoying nature, especially during cherry blossom season in spring or when the leaves are in full autumn color! Finally, we end our tour with a walk along Hanamikoji Street, where the kyomachiya, traditional Kyoto houses, transport us back in time.
