Join us for a walking tour of Arashiyama, a traditional district of Kyoto!
We begin with a hike to the summit of Mount Iwatayama. The monkeys are friendly, and we can even feed them!
We cross the Togetsu-kyo Bridge to reach the historic Saga-Arashiyama district, where we’ll take a break for lunch.
After our break, we visit the Zen Buddhist temple Tenryu-ji (14th century). The highlight of the day is a stroll through the world-famous Arashiyama Bamboo Grove. Afterward, we walk along the Katsura River—a breath of fresh air.
We wrap up the tour with a leisurely walk back to the station, taking with us a head full of unforgettable memories.
