Our method combines the experience of the lookouts, who observe whales and dolphins from high points on the island with long-range binoculars, with the experience of our team, ensuring a safe and respectful approach, in accordance with the Azores conduct code for cetacean observation. This model results in approximately 98% success rates for year-round sightings.

What to expect
Sighting guarantee: In our whale and dolphin watching activity, each tour is a unique experience and unpredictable, as we work with wild animals whose behavior can vary from moment to moment. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that we will see only whales, only dolphins, or both on a single tour. However, we are committed to providing sightings of at least one of the species of whales or dolphins present in the waters of the Azores.
If, for any reason, no sightings occur during the tour, The customer will be offered a new free tour. And, in the case of adverse weather conditions that make it impossible to carry out the activity or unavailability, we guarantee a full refund.
