The waterfalls will surely be the highlight of your stay if you enjoy nature. Many people take advantage of the chance to swim in the river, but you should be aware that the water is freezing. The first waterfall is easily accessible, but the next ones need more effort to reach. You will have to climb and climb to reach some of the waterfalls, so wear adequate footwear.

This is, in principle, a trip to the core of traditional Berber life in mountain settlements. Once there, you'll learn that what you thought was a normal daily experience is actually a tourist-oriented theatrical production. The father usually walks you around his house and makes you a mint tea.

Ourika (Monday) and Aghbalou (Wednesday) are the most prominent traditional weekly marketplaces in the region (Thursday). If you come down from the highlands, Tahanaout (Tuesday) and Asni (Saturday) are two additional great marketplaces to visit.
