Book this cooking class to experience cooking as we are culinary enthusiasts, and we invite you to join us in Marrakech for a lunch in the heart of the Medina, in the true Moroccan cuisine heritage, and in a familial and pleasant setting.

Your chef, who specializes in Moroccan cuisine and pastries, has worked for numerous prestigious hotels in Marrakech. When you arrive, we will greet you with a traditional mint tea and discuss the menu options, which will include the most traditional and tastiest Moroccan foods.

The meal will consist of an appetizer, a main dish, and a dessert. First, we'll visit the Old Souk. A stroll through the souk in search of the fresh ingredient. We shall begin preparations once we return home.

What to expect

We begin with a tour of our neighborhood, stopping by the communal bread oven, and the local souks, where we will acquire all of the supplies for the lesson.

We will lead you on a culinary trip, explaining the spices used in Moroccan recipes as you prepare a selection of Moroccan salads, a main meal tagine, and a fruit dessert dish. We will also show the preparation of Moroccan mint tea.

Salads like courgette, aubergine, and sweet tomato are popular, and tagines like chicken with preserved lemon and olives or lamb with prunes are popular, but we can show you any that you want to master.

We will teach in French or English if you prefer. You'll learn a lot about Moroccan life while you attend the lesson - no topic is off-limits! We've been teaching the class for a few years now, and it's hands down one of the most enjoyable and memorable experiences you'll have in Marrakech. We'll feed you everything you've prepared for lunch after class.
