The itinerary begins in Piazza di Sant’Apollinare next to Piazza Navona, one of the most famous Baroque squares in Italy. Built on the remains of an ancient Roman stadium, Piazza Navona offers students a clear example of how modern Rome developed directly on top of its ancient past. The tour then stops outside the Pantheon before ending at Piazza di Spagna, a lively square known for the famous Spanish Steps.
