1Mount Batur
Begin your adventure with a short safety briefing from an experienced local trekking guide before starting your hike. The trek to the summit takes approximately 2 hours, passing through the volcanic landscape as you make your way to the top. Once at the summit, walk along the volcanic crater rim and admire the impressive crater and surrounding scenery. As the sun rises, enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Lake Batur, Mount Agung, and Bali’s beautiful volcanic landscape. While enjoying the sunrise, a simple breakfast of eggs, bread, and tea or coffee will be prepared for you at the summit. After sunrise, begin your descent and explore the black lava landscape created by past volcanic eruptions. Along the way, you may see wild monkeys and local farms growing garlic, tomatoes, chilies, and onions.
