The Queluz National Palace is an 18th century palace, a reference of rococo and neoclassical architecture in Portugal. Built in 1747 by the future D. Pedro III, husband of Queen D. Maria I, it was conceived as a summer residence, becoming a privileged leisure space for the royal family. It served as a discreet place of incarceration for Queen D. Maria I while her madness continued to worsen after D. Pedro's death in 1786. After the fire that struck the Ajuda Palace in 1794, the Palace of Queluz became official residence of the Portuguese Prince Regent, the future D. João VI, and his family. It remained that way until the royal family fled to Brazil in 1807 due to the French invasion of Portugal. Apparatus spaces and private rooms follow one another in connection with the gardens, an integral part of this playful experience.

Ericeira is a beautiful fishing village that has become an excellent resort. Its center, which is older and more typical, allows visitors to walk through narrow winding streets that go back to other times. Its connection to the sea is undeniable, even by the immense ocean that serves as a backdrop to the houses. The cliffs that meander along the shores of Ericeira Beach also give it a unique beauty, as do the fisherman's boats that bring the best and freshest fish that can be tasted in many of the village's restaurants. This small fishing village has become an essential stop for any surfer visiting the country, as it is one of the few parts of the world that has been declared a World Surfing Reserve. Within its borders, white, blue and yellow colors reflect indescribable light. of the place. The smell of the sea guides visitors to the coast, where they can enjoy the essence of Ericeira.
