Travel in comfort aboard our 2025 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van on this Halfway Road to Hana tour, ideal for guests who want a shorter, relaxed experience while still exploring East Maui.
This half-day journey includes lush rainforests, scenic coastline, and local favorites like Hana’s famous banana bread — all without committing to a full-day tour.
Stops are limited strictly to the itinerary below and may vary due to weather or safety conditions:

With small groups of up to 10 guests, our local guides prioritize safety, clear communication, and a smooth experience.

We pick up at almost all Maui Hotels and Condos. If you are staying at a private vacation rental (Airbnb/VRBO), Kapalua/ Napili or if you are coming from the cruise port please contact us for the nearest pickup location as we do not provide transportation from these areas. Not providing your lodging will result in a defaulted pick-up / Meet location at the Ma'alaea Park and Ride.

Embark on a breathtaking Maui adventure along the famous Hana Highway! Discover lush rainforests, cascading waterfalls, and ocean views. We’ll pass Ho’okipa Beach Park, the ‘wind sport capital,’ and spot Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles. Explore the colorful Rainbow Eucalyptus trees, drive through the Bamboo Forest, and visit the rugged Keanae Peninsula to see crashing waves, enjoy fresh banana bread, and stop by the historic Lanakila Church (built in 1856). At Pua’a Ka’a State Park, swim in refreshing freshwater pools (at your own discretion and risk) or simply relax. With pick-up and drop-off included, this is Maui’s magic at its best!"

Small Hawaiian villages doing their best to live like the Hawaiians of old. Hunting pigs and growing taro, bread fruit, and Bananas are all big parts of everyday life in this small community. It’s also the site of the famous Half Way to Hana Snack stand; shave ice, fresh coconut, cold drinks and of course the Original Fresh Baked Banana Bread. The Keanae overlook and peninsula offer views of one of the largest taro farms in Hawaii.

It is fairly easy to access the waterfall from here. Some people like to take a dip in the chilly waters by the waterfall and on a hot day. Wear swim suit layered and bring change of clothes. Don't forget the towels.

Ho'okipa Beach is considered the windsurfing capital of the world, you can enjoy watching wind surfers, kite boarders and surfers challenge the oceans waves and shoreline winds. This is also the Threatened Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle capital of Maui, with 200-pound turtles feeding along the shoreline and basking on the beach all day long.
