From Sofia: Plovdiv Tour with Mineral Spa Visit

A Day in Plovdiv and Wine Tasting

This tour begins with a hotel pickup in Sofia around 08:30 am. After a 2-hour drive, arrive at the Old Town of Plovdiv. Spend two hours admiring the wonderful Revival houses of the richest people in Plovdiv from the 19th century before proceeding to the Ancient Theatre, located on one of the highest hills in the city.

After visiting the Old Town, continue the tour to a typically small Bulgarian restaurant en route to the wine cellar. Enjoy an optional lunch there, then around 3 pm, arrive at the 'chateau,' where you will learn the amazing history of the winery and proceed to taste five different kinds of wine.

Around 4:30pm, begin the trek back to Sofia for a hotel drop-off.
