Are you interested in seeing more than just the sites of a city? Riding a Road Bike is a great way to experience everything in Kyoto, and the surrounding Kansai area has to offer. Rent a bike and forge your own path through urban and rural Western Japan. Kansai offers kilometre after kilometre of cycle path so you can see and connect with the area allowing you to visit more in one day than you would imagine, and at your own pace.

You can also take advantage of Road Bike Rental Japan staff's knowledge of Japan, Kansai, cycling, and travel to make the most of your cycle trip in Japan.

This rental includes the use of a bike helmet, lock, and other useful tools to ensure a safe and fun ride.

Meeting point

Head to Takeda Station on the Kintestu Kyoto line. Exit from the south ticket gate and take the west exit (Exit 6). Turn left and follow the road straight. Road Bike Rental Japan (Kyoto) is 450 metres on the left.

What to expect

Road Bike Rental Japan is passionate about cycling & exploration on two wheels in Japan. We have a range of adult Touring Bikes from top brands, including Trek and Cannondale available to help you explore more of Kansai.

Sizes range to suit cyclists from 150cm to 2 metres tall. Please let us know your height(s) and we will allocate a suitable size.

We know Kyoto and beyond. We have some of the best cycle routes in the area saved and ready to be shared via navigation apps. Scenic routes of Kyoto are available for novice riders while Osaka and Nara are within range for those who ride 100km regularly.
