    Day 1

    Arusha – Tarangire National Park

    Tarangire National Park

Our driver will meet you at airport or at your location in Arusha. The itinerary starts at around 8:30 am, you will be picked up by our driver-guide and start driving to Tarangire National park for game viewing. Good location near the main road, only about 100 km from Arusha and the diversity of animals and vegetation make Tarangire one of the best parks in Tanzania. The park is often referred as the home of elephants. Large herds (even 50 – 100 individuals) can be seen roaming among the huge baobab trees. Other animals to be spotted are e.g. zebra, giraffe, different antelopes, lion, cheetah, vervet monkey and mongoose. Early evening exit the park and drive for your dinner and overnight stay.

    Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast drive to Lake Manyara National Park for game drives until early evening. It’s a small park with stunning and versatile scenery. The loveliest I have seen in Africa” said the novelist Ernest Hemingway about Lake Manyara. The most famous habitants are the tree-climbing lions. It is also a park with very high density of elephants and it is in fact a place where you are most likely to have a close encounter with them. Lake Manyara is also the home to the largest concentration of baboons anywhere in the world. Lunch in the park. Early evening exit the park and drive for your dinner and overnight stay.

Seronera Valley supports a much greater diversity of resident wildlife than anywhere else in the Serengeti. Resident prey attracts the highest concentration of large predators in Africa (lion, hyena, leopard and cheetah). Late afternoon drive for your dinner and overnight stay

    Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Get up early at 6 AM to descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a day of wildlife viewing. Early morning is the best time to glimpse big cats on the hunt. The Crater is an actual Noah's ark and often referred as the eighth wonder of the world. It has the highest density of animals in Africa. This is the park to see the Big5 in one day. The resident population of black rhino is a real treat, as rhinos are very difficult to spot elsewhere in Tanzania. It is also home to some very impressive elephant bulls with huge tusks. In the afternoon ascend the Crater and drive back to Arusha
