    Day 1

    Arusha – Lake Manyara

    Lake Manyara National Park

    Our driver will meet you at airport or at your location in Arusha. The itinerary starts at around 8:30 am, you will be picked up by our driver-guide and start driving to Lake Manyara National Park for game drives. . Picnic lunch inside the park. The most famous habitants in the park are tree-climbing lions. Manyara is a good park for close encounters with elephants. It is also the home to the largest concentration of baboons anywhere in the world. Early evening exit the park and drive for your dinner and overnight stay.

    Ngorongoro Crater

    Ngorongoro Crater

    Around 6am, after breakfast, descend down the Ngorongoro Crater which is about 2000 feet deep and 14 miles wide. We will spend the day exploring the Ngorongoro Crater which is a World Heritage Site, home to nearly 25,000 animals, giving you a very real chance of spotting the Big5 namely lion, elephant, endangered black rhino, buffalo and leopard plus countless other African mammal species. Witness the magnificent array of habitats, each with its own unique wildlife and flora. Lunch at a location of the Crater floor. In the afternoon ascend the Crater and drive for your dinner and overnight stay.

    Tarangire National Park – Arusha

    Tarangire National Park

    After breakfast drive to Tarangire National Park for day of wildlife viewing. The park is often referred as the home of elephants. Large herds (even 50 – 100 individuals) can be seen roaming among the huge baobab trees. Other animals to be spotted are e.g. zebra, giraffe, different antelopes, lion, cheetah, vervet monkey and mongoose. Lunch at a location within the park, followed by more game drive until late afternoon. Exit the park and start your drive back to Arusha.
